We started Miracles from Maggie with one purpose in mind: helping. The goal is simple, to take all of the love and support that our family experienced as we battled Maggie’s illness and “pay it forward.”
What does Miracles from Maggie help mean? Help means providing gas money for a Mom who takes her daughter on a 100 mile round trip, 3 X week, for treatment. Help may mean covering rent for a strapped single Mom trying to manage a child’s health crisis. Help means finding a therapy dog for a young boy fighting leukemia who needs a furry friend to love. Help means adopting a therapeutic riding horse, one of Maggie’s great loves, for a young lady with limited mobility. Help means supporting other established organizations that focus on curing childhood cancer.
The need is great. Pediatric cancers and other life-threatening illnesses come with a cost, physically, emotionally, and financially. Through the foundation, we hope to reflect Maggie’s compassionate spirit as we take some of the burden from families during their most difficult of times.
You Can Help
There is an old saying: "To the world you are just one person, but to one person you are the world." To children and families going through unthinkable pain and sadness, you can be the world. Help families cope today and wipe out these devastating illnesses tomorrow. That is the mission of the Miracles from Maggie Foundation.
